A Passive Tree materializes during the night and dissipates either at dawn or upon conferring its blessings to an individual.
"THE PASSIVE TREE HAS SPAWNED" is a public announcement for when the Passive Tree materializes.
Upon interaction, the said tree bequeaths its beneficiary with a Fate Book. It is important to note that the Passive Tree's presence is confined to the night-time, and any interaction must be conducted during this period to avail its offerings. You will also get the passive status which you can check in your stats menu. The passive tree can spawn at the 3 starter islands, like pirate in 1st sea or other island in second and third sea. And the Passive Tree can only be used ONCE, It does not give the player infinite Fate Books.
The fate book can be used to:
-Increasing your sword damage (Sword Sense ), fruit and fighting style damage or defence (Destruction Enchant). Increase luck (Chance Enchant) , increase the exp (Wisdom Enchant), or money drops (Luxuriant Enchant). Reducing the cool-down (Skill Haste) . Most importantly, obtain iconic enchantments which are yellow and not Hex enchantments which are red, hex only applies debuffs. ICONICS are extremely rare to get but can be very Good Buffs PVP wise or farming wise. Wisdom is suggested for newer players.
-You can only get it once and destroy the tree.
-there is an NPC in pirate island called mystic bookkeeper that can craft the fate book and more using material and craft different types of books that is said to have better enchants.
-the enchant levels of the enchants can go from level I to V with V being the highcaner (Though there can be chances where Piercing enchant can go to VIII)
To use the Fate Book given by the Passive Tree or Crafted from the Mystic Bookkeeper (located in Pirate island behind a house to the right of the boss) you need to be in a SAFE ZONE and not in combat.
To use a fate book, you have to go to safe zone and go to stats. Next, scroll down on the stats tab and click on passives.
any book can be dropped by any special boss (sea king, hydra and expert sword). Chance is relatively low.
