What is Kenbunshoku Haki?[]
- In the anime, Kenbunshoku Haki is a type of haki that allows the user to be aware of his surroundings and predict when and where an attack is coming, as well as a person's location. In the anime, it's one of the two types of Haki that can be learned through training. It can be bought at Sky Island for 1,500,000 Beli.

What it Does[]
Kenbunshoku allows you to dodge attacks. When you first turn it on (by pressing Y, tapping "Observe" on mobile, or left on the D-pad on console), there's a blue tint that covers your screen. When an NPC or a player attacks you, your character dodges the attack automatically. With that being said, it'll dodge attacks that seem impossible just by moving left and right like the Dragon Fruit's roar or the Quake Fruit's wave. Kenbunshoku isn't invincible though, as at times attacks may still get through its defense (for example ghost ships or awakened Quake). Kenbunshoku Haki only allows you to dodge automatically eight times. Dodges only regenerate while Ken Haki is off, and it takes around 8 seconds to regenerate one dodge. Some fruits, swords and melees are better at breaking Kenbunshoku Haki then others. Moves that can make your dodges run out quickly are often called "Ken Breakers".

Ken Haki v2: To get the v2 for ken haki, you first need to be level 3600+ and have ken v1. You also need to have Busoshoku (armament) v2, or this won't work. If the above requirements are met, head to the Marine HQ in the second sea and go all the way up to the building. Talk to the Stranger Uncle npc in the room and boss LeePung will be summoned. The boss is hard, but you do not have to fight it alone, unlike the awakening boss. Once the boss is defeated, talk to the Stranger Uncle npc again to buy Ken v2 for 45M beli. Ken Haki v2 allows you to see the location and level of npcs, as well as the level, location, fruit, fighting style, sword and accessory of players, and also see whether they have a Legacy Pose. You also get two more dodges (10 instead of 8).
