Progression System[]
When you first start the game, you'll spawn on the very first island called Starter Island which is for level 0+ players. As you do quests or grind on NPCs for EXP and Beli (the system currency) you level up, until eventually you hit level 50. Once you're at level 50, you can get on a boat or fly and head to the next island. There's 21 islands in total, each having higher and higher levels until you eventually hit the maximum level which is 4,400.
- Currently, there are only 2 currencies in the game which are :
- Beli can be obtained through quests, grinding on NPCs, defeating bosses, and playing game modes like the Golden Arena.
- Gems can only be earned through the Golden Arena mode, Codes or some new world bosses.
You can use Beli to buy Devil Fruits and Swords, as well as Fighting Styles. Only use for Gems is to buy the more powerful devil fruits. For beginners, earning Beli can be slow, so don't waste your money.
Stats[]
Stats make or break the game, they make up your player build, determine your play style and what abilities you can use. There are 4 categories of stats that you can invest into.
As for the update 6, there are special stats that can be obtained in advand ways such as armament and passives.
-Passives: As the name suggests, it contains passives that might give you luck, strength, defense, and even powers. Passives can be obtained if you have a passive book which can be obtained from a passive tree.
Increases HP, the max HP is 47,850 HP. Highly recommended to max out the defense stat.
Increases Devil Fruit damage and unlocks abilities on Devil Fruits. If you have a rare fruit or higher, I highly recommend you focus on fruit stat.
Increases sword damage and unlocks abilities on Swords.
Increases melee damage and unlocks abilities on Fighting Styles.
These 4 stats make up your players build, and determine the damage and health, and which abilities you have access to.
While everyone stats are different, there is one thing they all share in common: you can only have 3 maxed out stats at once. The best stats anyone can have are 3 categories that hit their limit which is 4,250, and a fourth category that's stuck at 400. You'll gain 12,400 stat points throughout your entire journey, so adding them regardless into which category you put them in will always result in at least one of them getting the short end of the stick. The one category that is highly recommend to max out is Defense. The maximum HP a person can have is 42,600 and you need every last bit of it. You technically don't need to max it, but it's a very unwise decision to do so. Choose your stats wisely, otherwise you'll be wanting a stat reset.
How to get Devil Fruits[]
There's 3 methods one can obtain devil fruits with:
This is the primary and recommended method for obtaining Devil Fruits. The Black Market is located on Beginner island.
You can randomly buy Devil Fruits for 250k Beli, The chances are different between Common, Uncommon, Rare and Legendary. It is located on Beginner island. See Gacha for the information on location and more.
You can find them Under Trees. Although, this is not recommended because why would you waste your time finding fruits when most of the time the fruits that you are going to find are mostly common and uncommon fruits. It is also time consuming.
Devil Fruits for Beginners: Flame Fruit, Dark Fruit, Human Fruit, Ice Fruit, Gravity Fruit, Gear 4th and Magma Fruit are all recommended fruits for people who are new to the game. All of the fruit listed above are some of the best for grinding and PvP, though the best fruit that is cheap for PvP is the Love Fruit because it has good stuns and turns your enemy into stone.
Allying[]
Allying is a integral feature that is necessary for more then one player to work together. On the top left corner next to your money, click on menu and the press Allies. A menu will pop up and when you click a players name, it will send them an invite, if they accept, a neon green square will appear over their head which will indicate that they are allied with you. Allied players can't hit or hurt you, which is important for working together to take down a person or boss. Anyone who is allied with you when you accept will also become your ally. If you press the red "Leave Ally" button on the bottom of the ally menu you will leave your ally with everyone in the server. If you leave ally, you can still send them invite and become allies again. Allies are not immune to Haoshoku Haki though, so be wary of that. Allies are also not immune to the Ope-Ope heart attack.
Bounties[]
Fighting other players may or may not be the preference for some, but PvP is a key aspect of King Legacy. PvP works of the bounties system. The bounties system determines how much a player has killed others, and also serves as intimidation. When you kill another player, you will receive a small portion of their bounty depending on how much they have. For each million bounty a player has, you will get 50k, saying 2 million you will get 100k. When you kill a player with 0 bounty you only receive 500 bounty from them while they lose nothing. Bounties have no effect other than showing how skilled you are or just to scare people and once you hit 10M bounty you get a sword, called the Hunter Blade.
What to do when you obtain a Devil Fruit[]
For farming
- Put all stat points into Devil Fruit because you will one-shot NPCs if you do.
- Get another better fruit (image on the right is the ranking)
- Use a logia or a BIG AoE fruit (Rumble, Magma, Phoenix, Light <not recommended because no AOE>, Quake. Dragon, Love, Shadow, Dark, Ice, Flame, Snow. I highly recommend Magma, with high damage and low stats, although it is very hard to obtain.).
-Auto-farming is NOT allowed and will get you banned.
Old World Guide[]
As you first join the game, you should do the Snake Quest and do until you reach level 10 or more. After that buy the Katana if you don't have a fruit. Farm till level 100 (click here to see the map). After you farm to level 100, try to get a good farming fruit by spinning gacha (list of codes here).
